COH's Young, Gifted & God's present readings about "Work" this week. Keshia (new Youth Ministry Director in training) helps them.
What Does "Work" Mean?
Keshia asks the children. One child responds by saying "Something you have to do to accomplish a goal." Keshia tells the children that work is "not just a job where you make money. Work can also mean your service in church.." She then goes around asking them about the various types of work that are in the church. Some responses are: Being a Pastor, helping others and playing the piano. She then tells them that along with work comes procrastination, which can be very harmful when it interferes with the work we do for the Lord.
Recognized for Her Work
After Keshia receives a round of applause for her work with the children, she is recognized for her hard work in college. Leading Lady Perryman reads her report card aloud to the congregation.
